The best pet insurance

My blog isn't just beauty, it's a bit of everything from my life.  Whenever I get a chance, I tell anyone who will listen that if they have a pet, or are getting a pet they have to get pet insurance...the best pet insurance.  I remember seeing information about pet insurance at the vet's office when I was younger and thinking that it couldn't possibly work. Flash forward to 5 and a half years ago when I got my second yorkshire terrier.   I started reading about insurance and realized that it actually wasn't a scam.  I signed up for the best pet insurance I could find (Trupanion).  About 6 months after I got the insurance Lola broke her leg and needed surgery.  When a tiny dog has to get surgery it is sometimes more than one surgeon and very, very expensive.  Trupanion paid Lola's claim and I was so grateful.Five months after Lola's debacle, my older yorkie Ted was suddenly diagnosed with a life threatening autoimmune disease.  He was immediately hospitalized and given a spinal tap as well as an MRI.  His medical bills were over Ten thousand dollars in just a few days.  Although Teddy's prognosis was grim, he managed to live for an additional 4.5 years.  I was able to give Teddy any kind of treatment he needed without question.  Weekly doctor's visits, medications, hospitalization.  If I had not gotten the best dog insurance I would not have been able to give Teddy the best care.  When you have a sick loved one (in this case, my companion Teddy) it is a gift to at the very least not have to also worry about money.  I am so appreciative of the fact that I ever signed up with Trupanion, and feel confident that anyone who does the same will be very glad that they did.
