Norwex

In January I started doing a frugality challenge.  I think I needed something like that after losing my 12 year old dog Teddy after having him as my companion for 12 years.  It's been an interesting and enlightening time for me, as I've actually started to realize that wasting money usually goes hand in hand with ruining the environment.  My friend Kimberly was having a Norwex party and I decided to buy some instead of constantly buying (and throwing away) paper towels. I had Norwex towels for years and thought they lasted incredibly well, but didn't actually know how amazing they were until Kim's party.  Norwex Enviro cloths are antibacterial, durable, and can clean many things without window cleaner and chemicals.  I've been using them to clean my windows and mirrors with only water.  I've color coded the towels, a stack of champagne color in my kitchen, a grey stack for anything dog related and multi color for all of the other cleaning in the house.  I was spending about 2 dollars a day on paper towels which doesn't sound like much, but multiply it by 365 and it's 730 dollars.  Multiply that number by 10 and it's 7300.  That's quite a bit of money for paper towels, and also quite a lot to throw away.I also bought reusable sponges from norwex that have silver woven through them which is antibacterial.  It becomes a bit of a fun game to think about all of the things that we buy that are disposable that we can replace with more well made, long lasting products.Check out my Norwex party to learn more about enviro cloths, reusable dryer balls, sponges and so many things that may not be as exciting as shopping at Saks, but they save you money so you can buy what you really want! It's not just about looking good, it's about being good.Megan
